The Corporate Affairs Commission (The Agency of Government that legally registers NEW Businesses) recently passed a new CAMA Act 2020 that caused a lot of controversies on and off social media.

Whilst the Laws that defined that ACT has come to stay, the CAC is empowered by Law to also come up with Regulations to better manage the Industry they operate in – whilst the draft document is bulky, we, at the Nigerian Global Affairs Council, would advise that you focus on reading the aspect of the document that affects you the most NOW.

The Corporate Affairs Commission has called on Nigerians to share their thoughts and opinions on the draft REGULATION: Read more about the draft here: https://nigac.org/a-call-on-nigerians-to-review-the-cac-new-regulations/

The CAC says that you can share your thoughts on any aspect of the Regulation not later than Friday, 13th November 2020 to the email addresses listed on our blog.

This is not a time to keep silent or mute, this is a time to carry out a concrete review of the REGULATION and offer your OPINION – For Churches and other Non-profit organizations, you want to pay attention to the details on registering and managing a TRUSTEESHIP.

Send your thoughts and opinions also to policyposition@nigac.org (We can help make them robust and ensure that it gets to the right quarters in the CAC, if you also want to ensure that your Industry is well protected, do send us an email on what we can do for you).
